Describe Christian views on humanity

Many people in the modern day society continue to debate about the question on the origins of life. These people support two different ideas, number one is Genesis and number two is Science. Each of these explain And the origins of life and the making of the universe.

Genesis is a section of the bible which can be interpreted in many different ways of which I will explain later. Genesis says, the universe was created by God in seven days. Day one God made light; day two he made the atmosphere; day three he made land, water and vegetation; day four he made the sun, moon and stars; day five he made fish and birds; day six he made animals and man and then on the seventh day he rested. This is why, on the seventh day of the week (Sunday) Christians are meant to rest, not work and go to church. Genesis says that God gave humans the breath of life and a soul meaning that humans were the only creature with a conscience and an ability to make decisions. Humans personalities all differ because of their souls, but animals are all run on instinct and so have no free will.

Science on the other hand talks about the big bang. This was one small atom which exploded, picking up particles of dust and clouds and eventually after thousands of chemical reactions through out space forming millions of stars and galaxies. One of those stars had particles of dust orbiting it. These were attracted to each other and eventually got together to form planets. One of these planets by chance had chemicals and volcanoes and was just the right distance from the sun to obtain life. There was no oxygen but there were pools of water. DNA was formed ...
