Extracts from this document...

Introduction

I.T. GCSE COMMUNICATION PROJECT F.Seiler 10/11 MH Brief: For my GCSE coursework I have been asked to advertise my own business. My business is called 'Seiler BMW London' and I am selling BMW's. But only the following types: * 3 Saloon - Convertible * 5 Saloon * 7 Saloon * M3 and M3 Convertible I will try to advertise my business by producing business cards, headed paper and three folded leaflets. Analysis: In a promotional package of my business I will need advert in a popular car magazine. I have to write my address and e-mail address on the left bottom of the advert. Also I need to tell them my name and a phone number so they can call me and ask for more information. I put it in a car magazine, because I think that only older (18+) people read car magazines and they are able and have the money to buy cars. It is absolutely essential to have a business card to give to people you meet on the street or to people so they can contact you. On feature 1 I will tell you, what information you need on a business card. You would need to give your business card to people who want to contact you and want to have essential information about me (address, phone number etc.) ...read more.

Middle

In 'Mp' you can choose the type 'Business Card' so you don't have to measure the length and height of the Business Card you are going to produce. It also offers a range of options for the layout of the Business Card, like pictures, bolt text; insert pictures (from floppy disc, internet, CD-Rom etc.) etc. * Compliment Slips The best software to produce Compliment Slips is 'Microsoft Publisher' (in future described as 'Mp'!!!). Because you don't want to write huge amounts of text but you want the layout to be good. 'Mp' is designed to move text boxes and insert/move pictures. * Headed Paper The best software to produce headed paper is 'Microsoft Word' (in future described as 'Mw'!!!). You can save the headed paper in 'Mw' and change it. Like when you change your telephone number and you've printed 1000 pieces of headed paper you normally throw them away because they give the wrong information about you. But in 'Mw' you can change, edit and delete information. You can save it as a template and so you write straight under the heading of your headed paper when you open 'Mw' to write a letter. * 3-folded Leaflet The best software to produce a 3-folded leaflet is Microsoft Publisher (in future described as 'Mp'!!!). ...read more.

Conclusion

These are the two logos: BMW's on the right and my one on left: Design In my design I will decide between 3 3-folded leaflets, 3 business cards, 3 headed paper and 3 compliment slips. I will design everything myself and I will produce the chosen design for my company: Seiler BMW London I will design all of my product by hand on the following pages. I will include some of the information I analysed on my collected BMW product. I also have to include the BMW logo and my logo on every product. On the following pages I will show you 3 sketches of every Item I want to produce. I will choose on of these and tell you why I've chosen it. On the next page I will how you 3 headed paper designs. I will show every design (of the product) to people and get their opinion. They will choose with me what product I am going to produce because it is not important if I think that the product is good but the people have to tell me if it is good. So every produced product was chosen by me and the opinion of the people I've asked. I will show now ones more the BMW logo and my logo (Seiler BMW London) so I can show the EXACT colour I have to use on my products: Dark Blue White Black Grey (letters) White (letters) ?? ?? ?? ?? 1 ...read more.
