Piloting
Piloting the questionnaires are a method that are used to hand out to people that will go through the list of questions that I have written out and see if there are any spelling mistakes any questions that they don’t understand and also to see if any question that I have written are to personnel for someone to give an answer to.
Then once they have checked through these and they feel it is acceptable apart from the changes that are needed then I will take it back and edit it in a way that they would not feel so personnel, then finally I would give it back to the same people and ask them to go through the questions one more time to make sure that I have done the correct changes that they have asked me to do and see if they have missed any questions the first time round, then once they have checked it thoroughly, I can now take the question onto the public in the area and hopefully with all of the precocious that I took before will help me into the public in getting the answers that I need, as well as the public not feeling that I am not getting them to answer questions that they feel is to personnel to answer.
With the efficient research that I will do to find the valid information
But of course I myself will not be there to watch as I need to sort out other research methods that will get us the valid information for the launch of the new garden centre in the area, the other research methods that I can use would be observation this would allow my researcher to see what customers are going into the store and coming out with a bag, this is just some of the ideas that would help us launch our new garden centre.
D1
In my proposal I have decided to do a landscaping method to attract customers to this new garden centre that I and my team have decided to open the idea of having some one to come round and landscape their garden is not only risking for the company as there could be people that are very demanding that they would want every thing perfect just what they have asked, which is fine as that is what we came to do but if a customer keeps on changing things then this will delay the time and money spend for us as they keep on changing the design to what they want. This may result in us having to hire more people that are qualified to help build the garden to the customer’s plans that they have demanded for their garden, but with the increase of the garden centre having to hire more people that will cost more and when they do finally finish the job that was asked by the customers we will have to cut some people. This will lower our reputation as we are cutting people from their jobs to feed their families we can wait until we are making enough money and then we can afford that many people. But with all of this training for our employees it will also cost more money for the company.
But we can get contracts to keep people interested in this by saying a set amount so that if we over run there can be no changes doing the work of the garden and if any time over runs the contract will finally finish 2 weeks after the date where the contract states the contract will end. This is a good idea as it will keep the employees on task and will not sit back and do the job at their own pace also this will keep the customers happy as there will be a set date in which the garden will be down and they will be not worried whether their garden will be finish in 2 month instead of some thing like 4 month and a couple of weeks this is just an example of what could happen if we did the contract method.
In the research method observation this would prove to be one of those research methods that we give us the necessary information that we need. This will aid us a lot, in our pursuit to competitor with Wyle vale which is situated a far distance from us but still a strong competitor, as it is the next closet garden centre.
When we handed out the questionnaire that I have type I am gland that before I did hand out the questionnaire I decided to get some people that I new to go through them and check for spelling mistakes and any question that are to personnel for the public answer. The questionnaires came back with some positive results which is good result as we can now process the information that we have collected from our researchers
