P2: Presentation of complex internal business information using three different method’s appropriate to the user’s needs

Tesco:

On-screen presentation:

Information may be produced on-screen. On screen information means any sort of information that is presented on the screen. It can be written so the user can read it. It can be in the form of a video clip with sound and images as well.

TV:

Tesco has information on TV about their new products. They use TV as a source of advertisement for Tesco. The information is presented in an attractive and catchy form which attracts the people and makes them look at it. The details are in written form on the side of the screen and they have characters that are playing for the advertisement.  The colours are catchy for the children and even for the adults which motivates them to look at them. This can even be taken as a source of entertainment and along with that it provides information.

Computers:

Tesco shares its information on the internet. Any new product that is introduced is introduced on internet. The data can be in sort of text, graphics, animation, audio and video. The products which are shown on the TV for advertisement are also shown on the internet for advertisement. On internet the price and any new offers attached with them are shown for the customers. All the details of the products are given on the internet for the customers. While some one is working they can even check things out on internet.

Big screens:

Tesco presents its information on big screens in the town and even in the city. In the shopping places big screens are put up which show any new product introduced by any brand. It’s big so people look at it while they are walking pass it. Anyone who steps in to the place the first they do is they look at it. It’s eye catchy. It is short and easy for people to read. It tells you everything in short detail. Tesco introduces its new products through it or if they have any new sales going on the show them up there.

Web-based information displays many benefits of multimedia technology. Using today’s fats broadband connections, it is possible to stream sophisticated content to a computer anywhere in the world. This is an advantage for many people as the information can be received and read wherever and wherever it is convenient for them, which can be a crucial factor for a busy executive.
