Marketing Campaign: - Windows Vista Sponsors YES (Apache Software, Mozilla Firefox adverts etc). Nokia N96 Sponsors YES (Human Race events, Tribeca Film festival etc). Windows Vista: - Windows vista is manufactured by a multinational computer organisation. Windows Vista contains many changes and new features that are satisfying its targeted customer's needs. New Features includes an updated graphical user interface and visual style dubbed Windows Aero, improved searching features, new multimedia creation tools such as Windows DVD Maker, and redesigned networking, audio, print, and display sub-systems. Windows vista has new technology that is sharing files between computers and devices. Previous Windows has not been updated with these features. While these new features and security improvements have garnered positive reviews. Windows Vista has been the target of much criticism and negative press. Windows vista Marketing compagin is that they sponsor Apache Software and firefox adverts. Apach Software is a non profit able corporation but better known as (501(C)(3)) in computer termnilogy. The Apache software starts working in 1994 which was developed by eight people. Apache software main projects deal with HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protol), Java applications and web services etc. Windows vista sponsors this software because this is related to operating system. This software is quiet usefull when using Microsoft Internet Explorer or other software tools. Another sponsor of Microsoft is Mozilla Firefox. Mozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser desended from the Mozilla Application suite managed by Mozilla Firefox. People watch these two the most as they like it. The recommendations that NOKIA corporation needs is that NOKIA should sponsors some other famous sports games as well because most people are fans of big celebrity and they follow them what ever they like to wear or eat. E.g. Manchester United football club fans buys what ever kit they wear during games and a famous celebrity name is printed out on the back. This kind of activates encourages people to buy the products because of famous adverts and sponsors. Technology Concept: - Products Technology Windows Vista High graphics (1600 1200), Microsoft Office 2007, Visual effects, New display driver, Microsoft DirectX 9, and Microsoft Direct3D Pipeline. Nokia N96 2.8 inch screen, 5 MP camera, 3D Sat-Nav, Audio play back (MP3, AAC, HEAAC, WMA), Video playback (MPEG-4, Real video, WMV 9, Flash player), Email, WI-FI, Digital radio, Video call camera and Nokia N96 48 GB External memory card. Windows Vista: - Windows vista has been upgraded so differently from all previous versions. Every window will have its own, full window-sized surface to draw to. The desktop will be dynamically composed many times a second from the contents of each window. The goal for desktop composition is to enable compelling new visual effects for both the windows user interface and for applications created by third party developers, all shown on increasingly affordable, high density displays. The windows vista display Driver Model allows for the visual effects seen on a user desktop to scale relative to the available graphics hardware. For example the experience of viewing windows vista on hardware with capabilities equivalent to a high end Microsoft DirectX 9 compliant graphics chip will be richer than Windows vista displayed on baseline legacy graphics hardware. Some customers are not satisfied with it as it is too complicated. ...read more.

Nokia N96 YES (ITV1, ITV2 and ITV3, The Sun Newspaper, Daily Mirror News paper, Metroline freenewpaper, 3g, Orange, O2, T-Mobile, and Vodafone Mobile Network shops, leaflets and Internet) Personal opinion on Product Marketing: - Windows Vista: - Windows vista is satifiying my needs because I really like windows vista graphics and the visualy effects. Personally windows vista for me was hard to operate but evenully when I discove more about it; it was easy as water for me. Windows vista is a new window which means that it is more hi-tech familiar than previous windows. Windows vista has high graphics which satisfy my needs because it's easy and more fun to play games on it. In my Vista testing, there is noticeable performance benefits on computers with 256MB dedicated graphics compared to those with 64MB or 128MB discreet graphics and shared memory for the remainder. More importantly, at some time in the future there will be more applications tapping into Aero and Windows Presentation Foundation-and that's when I am going to feel the graphics pinch. Nokia N96: - I don't have any such phone that is know as Nokia N96 but according customers reviews which says that it has bad battery and the same old 5 Mega pixel camera with bad dual-LED Flash. Internet reviews also suggest that customers can download links and files to the phones. This is the first high tech phone that is being made by NOKIA. Before this NOKIA had manufacture 9100, 9300, 9500, 9500i and Now E90. These are the smart phones but they are quiet long in size which means that nobody would like to walk with it in their hands. Personally I like Nokia N96 because it's new and stylish. I can organise my school work with it. This means that I can write any where in word or I can produce Excel charts to continue with my work. ?? ?? ?? ?? M1&D1 Jawad Ali (12SDE) ??? ???? ...read more.
