I m going to compare and analysis the effectiveness of the concepts and principles applied to the marketing of products by two organisations that Microsoft and NOKIA.

Marketing Campaign: -

Windows Vista: -

Windows vista is manufactured by a multinational computer organisation. Windows Vista contains many changes and new features that are satisfying its targeted customer’s needs. New Features includes an updated graphical user interface and visual style dubbed Windows Aero, improved searching features, new multimedia creation tools such as Windows DVD Maker, and redesigned networking, audio, print, and display sub-systems. Windows vista has new technology that is sharing files between computers and devices. Previous Windows has not been updated with these features. While these new features and security improvements have garnered positive reviews. Windows Vista has been the target of much criticism and negative press. Windows vista Marketing compagin is that they sponsor Apache Software and firefox adverts. Apach Software is a non profit able corporation but better known as (501(C)(3)) in computer termnilogy. The Apache software starts working in 1994 which was developed by eight people. Apache software main projects deal with HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protol), Java applications and web services etc. Windows vista sponsors this software because this is related to operating system. This software is quiet usefull when using Microsoft Internet Explorer or other software tools. Another sponsor of Microsoft is Mozilla Firefox. Mozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser desended from the Mozilla Application suite managed by Mozilla Firefox. Mozilla Firefox was developed by two software developer known as David Hyatt and Blake Ross. Mozilla organisation starts working in April, 2003 and start focusing on their service known as Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird. Along with time Mozilla organisaiton has developed different versions of Firefox and they are Fixfox Version 3, Version 3.1, Version 3.2 and Version 4.0. Mozilla Firefox Internet service provider is satisfying the needs of this new technology era by tabbed browsing, a spell checker, incremental find, live bookmarking, downloading manager, and intergrated search system that let the useers for their desired search. The advert that is being sponsored by Windows Vista (Microsoft) for Moziall Firefox is following.

Windows Vista (Microsoft) has sponsored two useful software services which are very good because it will be quiet useful for Microsoft to use the software in the Windows operating system. Although these are free but if Microsoft has sponsored it, this means it will become more popular and useful for users. There is no such disadvantage of sponsoring these services because this helps users to run and download and their favourite files from the internet and help them in many such ways in the internet.

Recommendations for Improvements: -

This is hard to judge that what are the important improvements and recommendations for Microsoft Windows Vista Marketing campaign, but although this is crucial for Microsoft organisation to improve its marketing campaign because every business competitors try their best to beat the other business. Microsoft is already a developed and well known organisation but to attract more consumers Microsoft have to sponsor big events such as film festivals or other sports games.
