2. Memory (RAM)

A ram is just like a human’s short term memory, just like humans short term memory the RAM forgets data that it has been saving on the system when you turn of the system. If you are typing a text document and minimises the document to do something ells such as locking up something from the internet then the RAM transfers your files to the hard drive and as soon as you maximise it the hard drive transfers your files back to the RAM if you did not safe your files. The ram saves data on it in bytes.

256. One hardware that the RAM communicates with is a hard drive. If the PC runs out of the RAM then PC takes some RAM from the hard drive because the hard drive has got RAM in it as well.

23. Motherboard

256. A motherboard is the main board of a pc that carries busses, it has different sockets with different CPUs. The motherboard is the hardware of the pc where everything gets connected to, for example the RAM, hard drive, CPU, DVD drive and the power supply etc.

257. The motherboard communicates with everything in the pc because the main and the most parts of the pc get connected to the motherboard. One thing that the motherboard communicates with is the CPU, it transfers busses from the motherboard to the CPU and then back, busses are parts data that have been saved by the user on the hard drive.

256. A CPU is hardware in the pc that you can call the brain of a PC. The CPU interprets instructions and processes data contained in computer programs. A CPU that is manufactured using integrated circuits is known as a microprocessor. The CPU takes care of the commands that give the PC.

257. A CPU communicates with the motherboard, memory and had drive, it communicates with every think via busses.

 

25. Graphics card

50332160. A graphics card is just like humans eyes, a graphics card makes the computer be able to view something on monitor. A graphics card converts computer PC data into graphical signals that you see on the monitor. You must have a graphics card to see something on the monitor just like a human must have an eye to see something.

50332161. The graphics card communicates with the motherboard and the monitor. The graphics communicates with the motherboard because it takes data from it to display it some where, witch is the monitor and the graphics card communicates with the monitor because it needs to display something on it.

26. FireWire

1. FireWire is a high speed data communication cable that transfers data one device to other device very fast. FireWire is faster then USB

1. FireWire communicates a lot of devices such as digital cameras and          other dives that need high speed data transfer rates. FireWire Transports data at 100, 200, or 400 Mbps. It much faster then a USB.

27. Digital video disc (DVD)

1. The main use of a DVD is to hold digital data such music, movie, files and folders. It is used every form home to business.
2. The DVD drive communicates with the hard drive and other storage devices because it needs to take the data from the storage devices to save it on the DVD ROM.
