Digital Nostalgia Founded in 1975 by Bill Gates, Microsoft now stands as one of the largest companies in the world. A couple years after the company established the first version of the familiar known operating system Windows came to life. Bill Gates invention has highly benefited millions of people in the present world with its development. His technology was put together by a brilliant team of scientists, but one does not need to be brilliant to operate it. The development of Windows has influenced scientists to expand their practices. The past and future differ greatly due to the invention of Microsoft Windows. Chances are that one of those icons on your personal computer desktop comes from Microsoft. Chances also are that your whole computer is running thanks to Microsoft.

In the present almost everyone in this world owns a computer, and a major majority of those people own a product of Microsoft. Windows programs like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Paint help the average being through their daily routines. Employees in offices print up a spreadsheet for their company's annual income. Students make graphs and documents to show their teachers. These basic attributes help our society move forward at a faster pace. With a push of a button one can log into one of the easiest operating systems available. The system to this day has been worked on by many scientists so that all one has to do is purchase it, put it into your CD drive, click next a couple times and then your off into the digital world.

Conclusion

Microsoft promotes the idea of computer engineering and the demand for better technology. Before Windows turned computers into a rare machine to a household object people didn't really think about becoming a computer engineer. When entrepreneurs saw the advantage Windows gave them to develop computer software and hardware they started to learn the foundation of computer programming. Thanks to Microsoft to this day many new aged college students are majoring in the computer engineering field, which opens up many more job opportunities. The multi-billion dollar company supports and aids these practices. Without Bill Gates and his idea of Microsoft the world may not be the same as it is today. His contributes to our society have enhanced our daily lives. With its easy access and benefits to our society, Bill Gates can go down in history as a scientific genius.
