Romantic love is the love between husband and wife and fraternal love is the love between parent and child. And if you're a religious family you have the love of your God. Love is necessary between any relationships and is the basic element of a life-long marriage. However, some marriages don't last permanently but the end result is a divorce instead. I believe that most divorces occur due to corrupted love. In my opinion, true love is very rare and if it exists, it will last a lifetime. If it were possible to break this eternal bond, the relationship was based on corrupted love. In this regards, without true love, marriages will be fragile and may be resulted in failure.
Our society has seen an enormous expansion in the number of people of all classes and races who choose not to get married or not to stay married. Many people are bearing and raising children without entering into the legal and economic bond of marriage. At the same time, lesbians and gay men who are raising children and many of these parents want to give their children the protections of legal marriage. Thus we see many people avoiding the institution of marriage but meanwhile other people are trying to enter it. It is a very ridiculous social phenomenon, which is mainly attributed to the high expectations of companionate marriage. We can see that people expect to find their deepest emotional fulfillment in marriage, and hence make it to be so highly valued. If people expect one relationship to provide life-long happiness, it should be no surprise that many such relationships fail to live up to expectations.
Family life seems to be less worthy to notify due to the fast pace of life in 21st century. Work is placed at the top of the agenda. However, the life with your family is very significant as it plays a major role in your development into the person you become. The goals you set for yourself in your life are very much dependent on the life you have with your family. For example, the kids tend to have an interest in sports and they also plan to go into the same field. It is the effect of your family life which guides you to decide what profession you want to do as an adult. In addition, family life gives you your basic strength as a person. Those who are a part of a broken family are generally less confident. As a consequence, it is prominent for us to repair and maintain our family life regardless of the stack of contracts.
In conclusion, I believed that true love is essential in any relationships. Without love, our marriages, families and even race could not exist. It is the love for one another that keeps us going. Besides, family life also plays a vital role in building up our mind and our future.
