Technological this is to do with machines, computer and technology, cultural moral which is religion and a society's background. The classification and characteristics of economic activity (primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary). The distinction between basic manufacturing industries and consumer industries. The influence of physical factors and the natural environment on industrial location. Case studies of (a) iron and steel in the UK, and (b) hi-tech industrial development in Cambridge (& M4 corridor).
