P4: Carry out a quantitative nutrient analysis of the diet of one individual
From the three day diet record we can see that the individual eats a lot of unhealthy foods and not enough healthy foods. The individual lacks a lot of vitamins, fibre, calcium, iron and protein, although the individual has a high intake of carbohydrates.
On the first day of the three day diet record the individual had nothing to eat or drink, this is not so good for them since breakfast is the most important meal of the day. For mid-morning and lunch the individual had nothing to eat or drink, this is starving the body of the nutrients it needs. For an afternoon snack the individual had crisps (which is around 130 calories a packet) and a bottle of juice (185 calories). For dinner the individual had chicken mixed with pasta (which is about 160 calories). And for supper the individual had crisps (130 calories) and a cup of diluted juice (low calorie).
