In my assignment I have chosen to focus on the rights of the elderly care at a residential home. I have chose this certain service user group as I think that I can easily gain access to information about the setting and research on some of the policies and procedures the organisation may follow.

The unit consists of four key areas; these are the values and individual rights of service users, barriers to access, how to create a positive environment and how society promotes service user rights.
