Write an account of how you managed health and safety issues for each activity
Memory and senses
The memory and senses activity took place in the green room at Kinbolton Lodge with some of the elderly people. In addition, I make sure that I control any health and safety issues by reading first their care plan for any allergic and skin condition for each of the elderly people before doing this activity with them. As the care plan gives me some idea about some food product they might be allergic to and what to do if any occur. I also make sure that before doing the activity there is nothing around that will harm them. I also make sure that I did not allow them to eat anything that they should not eat. I also make sure that the area is safe by moving all obstacles away. I also make sure that when doing this activity with them I was with one of the staff member. So if anything goes wrong she will then assist me and explain to me why.
