In some ways Source C supports Sources A and B and some ways they don't. When looking at Sources C and A, there are many different points about the Battle of Mons. Both sources mention that there were many people in the German Army attacking the British. "Waves of German infantry." This quote from source A supports that the German had many in numbers. "German attacks." This quote from Source C supports that there was many German fighting the British. The Germans had one of the largest army in the world that time. The British army called the BEF (British Expeditionary Force) had fewer men. The British army was well trained and very professional. In the German army the men had to join the army as there wasn't a choice but the BEF had men who were in the army as it was their job. Another point that both the sources mention is that the British had few soldiers compared to the Germans. "British were too few in numbers." This quote from Source A supports that. "Finding themselves alone." This quote from Source C says that the British were soon dying out as they had only few men left. Both sources also mention that the British were in danger. "In danger" Source A. "In Danger" Source C. They were in danger as they were few in numbers and as they were attacking the German kept on coming.
