Response to the question

In summary, the report is quite good. The report states the different hardware/software there there are using. In addition, there explain how this is being used though-out the company. However the report could include further uses of technology, and how the employee's may have to adapt to new software/hardware that the business implements. The report states the hardware, and software that the company uses across their network for all employee's. This is quite good, as this gives clear brand names and software packages which the company uses. Thus, this makes the report clear and can be read and understood with ease. The report could mention how the technology may develop in the near future. As the report did state that there didn't install Windows Vista, or Windows 7. However the report could include information on the future technology the company may use.

Level of analysis

The report states that the company uses Microsoft Exchange Server, to connect their e-mail accounts. This is quite good, although for high marks the report could explain how this is implemented across the company to allow the business to operate on a day-to-day basis.

Quality of writing

The report states the term 'Smart Phone', and this is described well and a user is able to understand this with ease. However the term 'Desktop Virtualization' is a little short and doesn't fully explain what this is. I believe that this is quite a complex technical term to explain, and thus the explication needs to be simple, by quite a length to allow the examiner to understand.
