Sound, Sound Effects, and Music for Computer Games In this assignment I will be analysing the use of sound design and sound production in computer games. Sound has been used in computer games from the, it is used to give the user a greater sense of being in or apart of the game world. By using sound we can create a 3d world for the user to feel more involve with the game. Modern games have not only sounds and effects but also soundtracks and theme tunes these give a much more intense fell to the game. Sound in computer games can be split into 2 domains Diegetic and Non-diagetic we can then split these into 4 categories, and depending on where or how it happens in the game depends on how it is categorized.
