Skellig is strange and mysterious for many reasons.
Michael seems repulsed by Skelligs mysterious appearance.
By the end Michael sees Skellig more as an angel.
I think Skellig is an individual that is evolving, or has not evolved properly!
Skellig is strange and mysterious for many reasons.
Some reasons are his wings, eats bugs 'a spider crawled across his face. He caught it in his fingers and popped it in his mouth,' When Michael first found Skellig one mystery was why was he hidden in the garage?
'He was lying there in the darkness behind the tea chests, in the dust and dirt.'
'as if he'd been there for ever.'
Skellig also doesn't want to be called anything (or just does not want to give away his name) 'Nobody. Mr Nobody. Mr Bones and Mr Hadenough and Mr Arthur Itis.'
I think Skellig is annoyed and possibly afraid because of what he looks like and says.

Skellig is very fond of brown ale and 27 and 43, (Spring rolls and Pork char sui).
Skellig refers to them as 'Sweetest of Nectars' and 'Food of the Gods.'
Skellig wears a jacket (which is important to hide his wings)
Before Michael met Skellig he was happy with where he was living. He had two great friends, Leakey and Coot, they were all very good at football, but that was before his family had to move house because of Michael's baby sister, Joy being born.
Michael found Skellig in the garage, the day after they had moved house. Michael was never meant to go into the garage but he was curious so he went in.
'I found him in the garage', 'He was lying there in the darkness behind the tea chests, in the dust and dirt.'
When Michael first sees Skellig he is curious to find out what or who he is.
Michael thinks that it is a mystery as to why he was just lying there behind a tea chest in an old garage.
As Michael gets to know and find out more about Skellig his feelings towards Skellig change in different ways.
'There were tears in my eyes. 'He just sits here,' I said.'
From this sentence you can see that Michael is really very concerned about Skellig just sitting there as if just waiting to die!
Michael's' feelings are getting stronger towards Skellig.
By the end Michael feels for Skellig as if he was a member of his family.
"Where will you go?' I said. He shrugged, pointed out to the sky. 'Somewhere,' he said.'
"Someone else might find him now,' said Mina. 'Yes,' I said. 'I hope they do.''
Skellig is unique! I think he is a great friend to anyone who meets him, a healer, a bringer of peace and joy!
I think Skellig is an individual that is evolving, or has not evolved properly.
If he has not evolved properly then, I think he is a dinosaur.
"There it is,' said Mina. 'Archaeopteryx. The that flew.''
If Skellig is not a Dinosaur then I think he is either an angel but if he is not an angel I think he must be an extra-terrestrial being, in other words and alien!
As you can see Skellig is no normal individual, there are many differences. Skellig has wings, eats bugs, found in a garage and flys.
He is no normal individual he is special, Skellig is unique!
I think he is a great friend to anyone who meets him, a healer, a bringer of peace and joy!
