Introduction: In this experiment I will be preparing a precise solution of glucose using accurate equipment so that I can get a brief result of the solution made. The technique I am using is very straightforward. Safety Points: > Clean up if glucose or distilled water is spilt. > Do not run while experiment is taking place. > Do not drink distilled water or eat any the glucose. > Be careful not to break any beakers or flasks and especially the digital weighing scale. * To any remaining glucose in the beaker which had not dissolved I added another few cm3 of distilled water and stirred. * I transferred the solution to a beaker and repeated the process until all the glucose had dissolved. I rinsed the glass rod into the beaker with distilled water and transferred it to the volumetric flask. * I then rinsed the beaker a couple of times with a few cm3of distilled water, transferring the washings to the volumetric flask. Conclusion

The difficult part was to pour the solution into the volumetric flask, to overcome this I took more time and being more careful. If there was more time available, I would have a perfect solution of glucose with accurate readings. Discussion of vocational implications: This technique for finding an accurate solution in industry is much similar to the experiment which I have done. Scientists will have better equipment such as, electronic stirring machine, digital integrated weighing machine and so on. Scientists need better equipment because they cannot afford to waste time as they need accurate solutions for tests.
