Pre-production evaluation
Before designing an energy drink for a suitable audience I decided to research existing products that were already available. After analysing my results I found that there were no energy drinks created only for women currently existing on the UK market and therefore I decided to create a drink that appealed mainly to women. When designing my product I wanted it to appeal to my target audience and therefore used results from my questionnaire and other sources to create a product that would be original and popular. After taking all of my research in account I created a mixed berry, low-calorie, energy drink in a pink tinted glass bottle. I decided to put the logo on the front of the bottle as I wanted it to be the most predominant part of the overall bottle design. I also added a bow to the top of the bottle as I believed this would appeal to my chosen target audience and give the bottle a more luxurious look.
