Four care values would be used in one to one communication by…
Equality would be used in one to one communication by giving the children an equal chance at explaining something and by making that they both use a language that is suitable for both the teacher and the children understand what they are saying to each other. This would be used to make sure that the child is treated equally and does not make the children feel small or out of place when the teacher at the nursery is speaking to them.
Rights and beliefs this would be used in the one to one communication by the teacher not pushing the child to give her information. The teacher lets the child give her the information when they fell ready. If the child says no to the teacher the teacher should not push the child to give them the answer.
Diversity this would be used in one to one communication by making sure that the teacher at the nursery gives the child a chance to speak about what the problem is because it can be about values and priorities. It would also be used to make sure that the nursery teacher is speaking at a pace so that the child can understand.
Confidentiality any important information that the child tells the teacher in a one to one communication will stay between the teacher and the child, it will not be given out without permission, but if the information is important and it involves health of the children then the teacher must tell the head of the nursery.
Group communication is when a lot of people are communicating together as a group. In the nursery I saw in the nursery that teacher’s uses group interaction when she/he is discussing ideas about the way that children are behaving in the nursery or about the nursery. The group interaction is also use when there is a parent meeting when the teacher discuses the report with the parents about the child’s progress. I also noticed that children also use group interaction they use group interaction when they are playing with each other usually in groups of four or fives where they share toys have fights together.
The teacher at the nursery uses group interaction with the children when its circle time where all the children sit in the circle and are told stories by the nursery teacher. When they finished reading the teachers ask them question about the story and then sit’s the children in a circle and answer the questions.
Four skills I have chosen would be used in group communication by…
Eye contact would be used in group communication when they telling the children what to do. They keep eye contact to make sure that the child is listening and to make sure that the child understand what he/she has to do. This also shows if the child is taking interest in what the teacher is saying in the nursery.
Body language would be used in a group communication at the nursery when the nursery teacher explain the work they act serious but calm, however if the child misbehaves whilst the teacher is trying to explain then he/she will remove them out of the class room if they carry on but if the teacher gives the child a first warning will be for the child to be quiet whilst she is explains the work.
Tone would be used in a group communication when the children are sitting in a group and are discussing about a story the teachers uses calm voice and ask the children questions the children pick up their hands and answer the questions.
Pace would be used in a group communication when the children are sitting in a circle and speak quickly to each other it shows that the children are excited and happy after listening to the story. If the children at the nursery are speaking in a slow and soft pace that shows that they were bored and tired.

Rights and beliefs when communicating in a nursery in a group if a child does not want to talk or have it a say in the group the teacher or the other children can not make the child say anything against their own will.

Confidentiality this is used in the nursery if a child or any of the children say something that is personal then it must stay confidential within the group. This must not be given out without permission, but if the information is about the Childs health or the child is in danger then the teacher must not keep it personal should tell the person tat is in charge.
Formal communication would be used in the nursery in the way that when the children come back to school from their Christmas holidays the teacher would ask hem how it has been and what they have been up to, and what they got for Christmas.
It would also be used when children have had an exam to see how well they are doing in then nursery and what the teacher needs to go over again the teacher would tell the children how they can improve their exam.
Four skills I have chosen would be used in formal communication…
Eye contact would be used in a formal conversation in the way that it shows the children that the teacher is listening to what they are saying that they taking interest in what has been said to them. It also shows the children that she understands what they are saying and it shows the teacher that the children are understanding what he/she is saying and they are following the information that is been said to the children.

Informal communication this is when a child and a teacher in a nursery are talking to one another with out direct eye contact. Informal communication would be used in a nursery in the way that when the teacher is talking to a child and another child is talking to her then she would talk to the other child without direct eye contact and then that way. It also is used in an assembly when the head is talking to tem but not looking directly at them all.
Four skills I have chosen would be used in informal communication…
Eye contact would be used in informal communication by the way that they would not need to look at them as much because they are still paying attention and it is a situation where not that much eye contact is needed.
Body language would be used in informal communication by the way that it shows the teacher are still listening to what the children re saying whilst the teacher is trying to do something else. If the children ask the teacher a question then she will give a straight answer straight away.
Tone would be used in informal communication in an assembly the head teacher uses high tone so that all the children can hear him/her this is because the head teacher will not be talking to each child at different times.
Pace if the teacher does not give another child a direct eye contact she/he would use quick fast pace this is because the teacher might want to help every child.
