The financial documents are used to communicate through long distance and the message in these documents are clear because the text has been written by a computer and there wasn’t anyone else apart from the selected personnel who have received the same message about the financials in Sainsbury’s. These documents are important as they provide the owner of the business with the progress of the business and if it has raised its usual profit. This uses postage that spends the business money and it causes the business to lose money, as there is more than one owner at Sainsbury’s (shareholders). The advertisements communication is good to inform large areas of people such as youth clubs, businesses and pressure groups. There are different types of advertisements such as leaflets, TV adverts, posters, newspapers and presentations. Sainsbury’s mostly use TV adverts and leaflets to inform their customers on any upcoming changes made. It is important to advertise to the customers, as they know what might happen in the future and the business will know when the busiest days will be. The best B2B advertisement is presentations as it tells all about the business and it gives lots of information about the business that might result in business partnership, which means that the business will have more support from their partners. The TV advertisements are expensive to make and show, as you need professional workers to do theses jobs that you won’t find in Sainsbury’s and that the advert will need a limited time to be advertised which will need to be paid as it will be shown all across the UK. The e-mails are the most used communication nowdays as it is cheap, messages get across much quicker and they take less time to write. E-mails are used within every business including Sainsbury’s which save the businesses lots of money and it is environmentally friendly which support many pressure groups Sainsbury’s is part of. The e-mails can have anything attached to the message and e-mails can be used to send important documents to selected personnel like the owners of Sainsbury’s. This communication shows that messages can be sending from any distance (short to long) and it does not affect any delivery costs which is important to Sainsbury’s as they are trying to use alternatives for some of the methods they are using.
