Human resources

Human resources department in (personal department) is the department of a business deal with recruit and employees, new employee’s need the main purpose function of a human resource department are:

Training
Recruitment
Workforce planning
Discipline
Appraisal
Staff
Health and safety

The workplace is safe and if close by any accident is the employees report them appropriately. They must be given to new employee’s introduction training. That is where the newest employees must be told what their job includes where to go an emergency (report accident first aid). Know where you need to go if there is a fire (escape route) that they will work with and any clothing they have to wear. They must be that told any health and safety issues associated with the job. E.g. lift a box with equipment etc.

Recruitment

The human resources department at BBC and Comet is trusty for recruiting staff. They might have to recruit staff because of new store opening filling jobs that have been created by employees , leaving, retiring or employee are being rejected. When the human resource department at BBC and comet must be create a job requirement and a personal specification. They then must be advertising the job and interview anybody applying for that job they also has to select the right person for the job and argue the contract with them.

Recruitment

BBC and comet need to hire people they selected the appropriate means of advertising depending upon the job. This support them to meet their aim because they will be choosing the right person for the job and new employee will be motivated keep customer happy (customer service) and meet the aim because the customer service will be supreme and the customer will be must a pleasant shopping experience.

Training

Human resources department at BBC and comet training and develop its staff to make sure that meet the standards need for the employment for example a checkout assistant would be placed on a till work course. Training is new assistant by putting them on course like till work training them to do (especially in an emergency) Instruction training week of work. Training staff is motivates staff as it make them feel more and extra confident in the job they are doing which is give the high-quality for customer service and which will help increase the firm incomes.

Finance

Finance department in business help the business with any money going in and out of the business. Their main purpose function of a finance department is:

Paying wages - Arranges the payment of wages to the business employees

Create wages slip - Creates a wage slip for each employee every time they get paid their wages.

Allocating funds - Allocates the fund to the stores for refurbishment etc.

The finance department at BBC and comet is at the head office and they look after the money go in and out form the business. BBC and comet are also responsible for paying bill etc. And make sure that money balances against item sold and bills paid.

Wages

The finance department at BBC and comet is responsible for payment for the staffs. And this by paying the employee’s wages straight Give the employee a wage slip or into their bank account which states how many hours the employees has worked a large amount they are getting paid and any national insurance and tax deduction that have be made. This is help BBC and comet to meet and need its objective and aim because it make the worker happy and motivates and this will give the customers pleasing shopping experience which mean that BBC and comet will have very good customer service.

Administration

Administration department is in business help other department and the business run smoothly. It does is by tying up any letter and sending them to the people they need go to.

The following are and responsible for the business to run smoothly:

Helping to arrange events by contacting people
Organising email or online from their customers
Sending out order to the company suppliers
Photocopying anything paperwork that need photocopying
Create range of any documents that the other department needs
