Others against sex outside marriage would say that most religions are against the idea and therefore reject the idea; the argument about pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases is a strong one, as it is becoming more of a problem, which has increased over previous years. To some it may feel uncomfortable or in fact could be the wishes of the couple's parents.

In my opinion I believe that sex before marriage is good because it can make a person feel more comfortable with their body as well as a partner which can make a person feel more confident during sex and therefore make it less tense. A person may find out their true sexuality being straight or gay by having sex before marriage to realise their true feelings towards others.

Some people believe that contraception is acceptable, it's known to be reliable and they help reduce the risks of sexually transmitted diseases between two people. It's much less hassle than the Natural Family Planning Method which is the only method recognized by the Catholic Church.

However arguments against contraception are that they make cause side effects, it interrupts sex and can be uncomfortable at times. There are still minor chances of contraception not working and the Catholic Church disapprove of them as it is seen to be preventing the Gift of God.

I think that contraception should be used if you feel unsure about the dangers of sex but if you are fully aware and feel completely comfortable not to use anything then that is up to the person to do so or not. I feel that the Church do have a strong and valid point but it's up to the person whether they feel it's wrong or not.

Overall, sex should be special which I think is more exceptional when a married couple do it but the use of contraception should be used if the couple feel as though they're not yet ready for a child yet want to have sex to feel the love between them. Therefore I slightly agree with the statement as I think that sex is more special within the marriage but the idea of always being open to the possibility of conception is something that is down to the couple depending on how they feel about the subject of children.
