Introduction
Jack In the TV A friend of a friend of a friend of mine knew someone who loved to watch TV. This sounds like any normal kid but not every normal kid turns into a TV. Jack loved TV. He had it on while eating. He had it on while doing homework. He had one in his locker and he had one under his school desk. The noise of TV was soothing to him. It was so soothing, that he even kept it on while sleeping. Whenever he was angry or sad he'd turn to the TV. It eventually became his best friend, his only friend. He loved it so much that his parents didn't know what to do. They gave up trying to tell him that TV could give you square eyes, or other TV myths. They discovered that the only way to communicate with their son was to record whatever they wanted to tell their son and play it on the TV. ...read more.

He pulled them out to their full length, and just like magic the TV started to work. Some children sat down to watch the TV too, but no one noticed Jack's very own antenna. On the way home Jack stopped at the TV store and started thinking about how many TVs he should buy when he has his own house. Four or Five? Or maybe one in every room? That was when these little dials and buttons appeared on his left arm. Again, he forgot all about it and thought about his future TV house. When Jack got home he started on his homework. He couldn't concentrate because the TV was off. Jack couldn't find the remote anywhere so he used one of the buttons on his arm. Jack was amazed at his remote arm, now he didn't have to waste time searching for a remote or put up with bad reception. ...read more.
Conclusion
Jack was terrified. He started to think about all the things he would miss out on because he's a TV. When Jack's mother walked in with the tape she couldn't see him. She searched the whole house, but there was no Jack. She went back to his room and found his TV unplugged. She put the power cord back in and turned it on. A message came up on the screen. It said that Jack had been watching so much TV and hadn't been paying attention to what was going on, so he had turned into the TV and that she was watching him right then. This is what happens to people who watch too much TV. So now Jack is a TV and his parents leave him on every night.
