Analysis of music videos Essay

A music video is a visual representation of a song. You find them on modern day music on T.V channels like MTV. They're popular in today's society because they show that the artist(s) are like and help tell you what the song is about. They influence and reflect culture as kids/teenagers want to be like the artist(s) because some artists have violence and swearing, which makes the younger people want to be just like them. So they appeal to their audience through there behaviour

The music video I will be reviewing is Cassidy's 'Get No Better'. The artists in the band are Cassidy and Mashonda. The video is about Cassidy trying to get Mashonda into bed by saying it 'don't get no better' than being with him.

The main artist in the video is Cassidy who sings a hip hop/rap genre of music. In the video Cassidy arrives at the house party and sees Mashonda and tries to get her into bed.
