“Macbeth” was greatly admired for killing the Norwegian king and putting the kings head on his own sword, which forced the Norwegian soldiers to run away because the king had been defeated and they had no leader.
Many people admired “Macbeth”. This is shown in the play when “Macbeth” was crowned the “Thane of Cowdorr”.
Lady Macbeth tells us that he; “Macbeth is to full of the milk of human kindness, to catch the meanest way”. We can admire here that “Macbeth” is a kind human being.
“Macbeth” is a thinking man, this is because prior from killing king Duncan. He thinks of all the reasons of why he should or should not kill the king.
I admire “Macbeth” for being a loving man, he loves his wife and is willing to do anything for her. This is shown when he decides not to kill King Duncan, but listens to his wife when she says, “if you do not kill the king, you do not really love me, and that he is a coward.
Later on when “Macbeth” has killed King Duncan, he regrets killing him. This is shown when “Macbeth says to himself “Wake Duncan with thy knocking. I would thou coudst”. This is admirable about “Macbeth” because he knows he has done wrong and wishes that he could turn this tragedy around.
I greatly admire “Macbeth” here for being a thinking man. He shows that he is worried because he is constantly thinking about the king, his own life, the way he is living, and the way he has been living and if he has lived a life long enough. “Macbeth” quotes this in act five scene three line 22 “I have lived long enough”. He thinks that he is going to hell for what he has done.
“Macbeth” is greatly admired for his bravery. This is shown when he fought “Mcduff” he knew that “Mcduff” was not born in his mothers womb, but still fought him. He also knew that he had no chance, as the witches told him.
There are many things to admire about this character “Macbeth”. “Macbeth” is a brave strong individual who has the courage to take on an army. He is a kind loving man who loves, adores his wife and is willing to do anything for her.
“Macbeth” is a thinking man he will always think before he does anything. “Macbeth” is a man who is easily convinced to do something by his loved ones, which also sometimes take advantage of this, his weakness.
“Macbeth” played his character well and he is admired more than he is criticised.
