Day 3 Day 3, more trouble. I was running short of water so I went to the well to fetch some more. I reeled the bucket up to find that the rope was about to break, the slightest swipe might snap it. I carefully pulled it up watching for more cracks, when I heard a strange noise behind me. If I had had more time to think I would have know the sound as the goat waiting to be fed. I whipped out my Swiss and cut the rope on my way round, I hadn't realized what I had done until I heard the deafening splash and saw the goat's mocking face. Staring at me with those eyes, those horrible eyes, like daggers in the dark attempting to stab at you at any available opportunity. It seemed that he was doing it on purpose. No wait I am cracking up I said to myself, it's just because of the lack of water and food and the fact that it was so terribly warm for January. I got the shovel and went back to the well, and started to dig with every movement two beady eyes swiveled round in their socket, mocking me. Thankfully the hole got so deep that I could no longer see the goat, and it couldn't see me. Too quickly, everything went white. When I awoke it was dark, I could hardly see four feet in front of me, so I waited for my eyes to get used to the dark. I fumbled around for the bucket I swung for it and to my surprise it was full. I looked around my tunnel was very high I started over to it, and tripped over a pile of rubble. My eyes followed the trail of rubble and I saw that it was piled high, like a staircase to the tunnel. I was too thirsty to wait when I got back too the hut to even pour it into a cup so I took a massive slug out of the bucket and collapsed onto the bed and waited for morning.
