“Education is vital” write a speech aimed at a group of disaffected teenagers that this is the case”

“I know how you feel! I’ve experienced the same way as you because I used to hate school so much, treading going to school and didn’t feel confident but I have learnt the hard way. You teenagers should have fun but you teenagers may think education is not worth it but trust me at the end of the day you can do what you want with your education even develop it more or quit or take time off. But if you don’t have education what’s the point in starting your education when you where younger and quitting half way? You will only leave with nothing! Do you really want to leave with nothing when you started with something at the beginning?

I remember my teacher once told me when I was in year 10 when I was 14 and thought school wasn’t worth it and terrible he said Halima if you focus and put effort into your work and education you will see just what you can do with all the grades and qualifications you gained I guarantee that and that you will not be up in debts as well! And then he laughed. From that day forward I begun to focus more and realized I was actually enjoying school and lessons. I even begun to socializing more and that’s important for everyone especially you teenagers. Otherwise how can you walk around with no friends or not even be able to make friends. And not be able to handle anything because you don’t know how to or can’t approach it! It’s hard especially for the future but your on your own most teenagers don’t feel confident. Well if you go to school and focus then you will see all was worth it. But you have to make sure that you want to get a good education and you know education is vital and that you feel confident to do so.

I have been told by many teenagers that they feel that school is taking over there lives but it’s not really its actually giving you a chance to do something with your life instead of nothing at all! You can even finish school then college and have a gap year or finish university as well then have a gap year or going traveling or getting a job well paid because whatever happens education will always get you back on track when you need it. The grades are there to prove it! Remember its better then getting a job in McDonald’s and not getting enough money for you or enough qualification for the future or working in the streets or living in the streets can you imagine living in the streets?

Remember though you teenagers not to take advantage of what’s there in front of you, your education is vital because many people around the world would love to be in your shoes and can’t because of serious reasons or problems.

How would you feel knowing someone out there wants what you’ve got?

As I remember my parents saying, don’t give up till you’ve tried!” Or them saying if you fail always pick yourself u until you pass! If it wasn’t for all this or my parents believing I can do it I wouldn’t be where I am today.

But most important of all REMEMBER be confident but mostly in yourself!
