In this essay I will explain the causes of long-term hunger and evaluate strategies adopted to cope with food shortages. A long term hunger is a chronic long term nutrition which causes significant health problems. There are many malnutrition-related deaths, and it also causes illness, like in Sudan, where in this country have long term hunger. Long term hunger is also is caused by malnutrition which is a serious health destruction that results from inadequate nutrient intake.  Malnutrition may result from a lack of food, a chronic shortage of key nutrients, or impaired absorption and metabolism associated with chronic conditions or diseases
