Title: Creation of Life and its Consequences Date: 3 December 2012 Frankenstein is the ideal classical tragedy featuring a tragic hero. A tragic hero always possesses a fatal flaw in which the protagonist has a moral weakness or human error that causes the protagonist's downfall. not this man-made creation, but is none other than the man who created it in the first place. Hence, this was issue I found to be most provoking in the novel and it eventually lead to the wrongful conviction and subsequent execution of Justine Moritz, deaths of William Frankenstein, Henry Clerval and finally Victor’s love, Elizabeth. In my opinion, the choice we make and the actions we take result in consequences we have to live with for the rest of our lives. Frankenstein’s blinding ambition prevented him from seeing the potential consequences of his actions until it was too late. ...
