I felt that my presentation went very well, although there were obvious mistakes, but these will be rectified as time goes by, as I will gain more practice by doing more presentations in the future.

Introduction

Introduction: In this task I will be aiming to give a fair and honest evaluation of the presentation that I had done previously. I evaluate how good I felt it went or not, what were the good things and the bad things about it, and finally how could I have improved it. Firstly I would just like to give some background information on what the presentation was about. The presentation was about skills that young kids need to develop to help them to get a job later in life. We had to have at least six slides, do a question and answer session, and we had to do it within a total 7-8 minutes. I felt that my presentation went very well, although there were obvious mistakes, but these will be rectified as time goes by, as I will gain more practice by doing more presentations in the future. One of the things that I think was really good about my presentation is the fact that I used graphics in each of the slides. ...read more.

Having mentioned all of the improvements that, I must state that it was not all good and positive about the presentation. So in the next section of the assignment I will start to talk about what went good about the presentation. Although I would like to say in advance that there isn't much that I need to mention here. One of the things that I could have improved on the presentation was my verbal communication to the audience. I felt that I did speak clearly but not clear enough to be heard clearly at the back of the classroom. Also just to further prove this point one of the feedbacks that I received mentioned that I did not speak clearly to begin with. Another thing that I could have done better was my question and answer session. I felt that the thing that I did wrong here was not think about what questions that I would be asked, and what happened was that I started to think long about the answer as I was standing, so I felt that this could have been improved as well Feedback: As I was doing my presentation the audience were writing down there own feedback of my presentation. ...read more.

Conclusion

Just like Gilbert Emily thought I did really well as well, and again I believe that it is a fair assessment as well. Improvements: In this section of the evaluation, I will like to mention some things which I feel I could have improved. I will be basing these on the feedback of the above people and also how I feel I could improve. The first thing that I feel I could have improved on in the presentation, based on what Emily had to say, was that I should have kept a good clear voice to begin with and finish off with that as well. Making sure that your audience hear you is very important if you are going to give a presentation, or else the audience will not know what you are saying. Another thing I could have improved on is that I could have been more dynamic in the presentation instead of being static. I feel this is because a presentation can be more effective if you are less static. I also feel that it gives a bit confidence to the presenter, and it keeps the audience engaged. ?? ?? ?? ?? ...read more.
