Prison! As I step cautiously into this dark and gloomy abyss that is the first thing that springs into my young and fragile mind. A small room that resembles the brain, limited yet full of never ending gibberish.

A tiny bed stares at me like a food-deprived cheetah and the enormous figure of the wardrobe almost acts as the room's guard making me feel puny and helpless. A gust of wind suddenly pours into the room causing mayhem. Making the curtains shiver in the cold. After a moment the mayhem is over and the first thing I spot is a small glinting object that has been offering me the only piece of hope in a hopeless environment, my Ipod! This device has let me escape from my own world into a black hole of other peoples problems many times before, but this time it could not stop me from trooping into the real world. Countless nights have been spent thinking of a plan of action, and tonight was the night!

The familiar creek of the sixth step sends a shudder down my spine. Did anyone hear it? A piece of crumpled paper sits at the bottom of the steps awaiting its unaware reader. My brain floods with all the happy memories I've had in this house but they are quickly disregarded and I take my first step out of my shelter, into freedom.
