Dear sir/Madame,

There have been many issues raised, and discussions made of smart drugs. In this letter I want to be able to recognise the advantages and disadvantages of smart drugs.  Smart drugs, are drugs that have been bought from online pharmacies, by students who are taking them to help to further their skills in there exams.  Students describe this drug as a sensation of alert after drinking coffee first thing in the morning; however other people say that students won’t be getting the right results to their ability as they have used drugs to help them increase in their memory and concentration.

These smart drugs, that students dream to be able to take, find it very easy to get hold of these as there are internet pharmacies that sell these. These drugs have many advantages to them such as; they can increase your energy level, awareness, and high concentration levels. It is aid to give users a compulsion to complete tasks.  These drugs are very easy to get held of, it can improve your mood, they can be used to treat diseases, and you are more alert and awake for exams. It’s a drug that students call great for improving academic performance. A university student who took those drugs described it as ‘I just felt like I could concentrate a lot and wanted to get stuff done. I ended up writing a 10 page essay, loads of emails and tidied my room’ with the right supervision, these drugs are legitimate way to boost performance.

In the other hand all good have their bad sides too. As smart drugs have their disadvantages too. Smart drugs can cause side effects such as; insomnia, anxiety, heart problems along with psychotic episodes. Ken Checkni, a specialist in addictive behaviour at st George ’s university of London has been confronted with some of the more extreme realities of taking these performance drugs. He says ‘ the user might have a mood disorder not quite as bad as a cocaine crash but close to it. They might feel suicidal!’ these drugs are highly expensive and it wouldn’t be fair ...
