MACBETH The story begins with a war in which Scotland wins. The king is told that Macbeth has fought very bravely. His comrades think very highly of him. We can say this because one of them says that Macbeth deserves that name. The king is pleased with Macbeth and invites him to his castle. When Macbeth and Banquo are making their way to the king's castle they meet the three witches. Macbeth is confused when he sees the wired sisters. Macbeth tells them to say something. "All hail Macbeth, hail to thee, Thane of Glamis" said one of the witches. Macbeth is not surprised because he is the thane if Glamis. Then the second witch says "All hail Macbeth, hail to thee, Thane of Cowdor". This makes Macbeth wonder, what are they talking about? The thane of Cowdor lives! ...read more.


He can't believe it. Thoughts come in to his mind that everything the witches said has came true but can he be the king. But just then Duncan makes another announcement. His son Malcolm is crowned the next king. Macbeth isn't happy but he thinks that it was all a coincidence. A messenger is sent to Macbeth's palace that Duncan is coming to stay. Then Lady Macbeth is introduced. Before Duncan has even arrived she has planed his murder so that Macbeth can be the next king. She is the person who actually makes Macbeth Murder Duncan. He finds the guards drunk. He takes the knife and then stabs Duncan to death. He puts the knife in the guard's hand. After the murder only a few days later Macbeth is crowned the King. But it doesn't take the witches or lady Macbeth to make Macbeth kill people. He does it like a professional. After the murder of King some people began to think that it was Macbeth who killed Duncan but Macbeth got them all killed. But some got away including Duncan's son and Macduff. Macbeth hired murderers to kill everyone at Macduff's castle. Macduff killed his family because he went off to England and Macbeth considered him as a traitor. When Macduff brings the soldiers disguised as a forest, Macbeth orders to hang any one who is afraid. At the end it is Macduff who duels Macbeth and ends his rampage.
