For some reason I cannot really remember my early years, as they were quite a while away. But I do remember living next to a farm with lots of funny animals, my favourite being the chickens. The chickens used to come into our garden and I used to follow them around nearly all day. They were so incredibly peculiar and deserved lots of attention.
Brothers are very mischievous and spiteful. They tease you and poke you, but there family so you’re supposed to forgive and love them. When I was thirteen months, the “little monster” was born. His name is Hugo.
If you do not believe me, he used to open all my cards on my birthday and try and rip my presents open too. My worst nightmare was his scissor stage. He made about 20 Barbie’s bold and legless and also, in the night gave me a haircut I could never forget.
After living with my parents being together, Hugo, mother and I moved to Bristol. I am still here to this day. It’s such a picturesque little town and the great royal regatta makes me think of all the good memories that people have when they go to Henley.
My funniest moment was when my father, two brothers and I went to a swimming pool. My dad and brothers were fooling around in the deep end. A few minutes later I heard chanting coming from the deep end and I knew they were up to, lots of mischief! Lots of children were chanting “Daza” coincidently my father’s nickname. I just remember a vague impression of everyone looking up. By now half the swimming pool were clapping their hands. What was my dad doing? Why was he walking up? Of course, he was going to jump of the diving board. I thought to myself if had we been to the pub earlier. But we hadn’t. He jumped of on the count down of the now near enough Olympic crowds below. I could not believe my dad would have the guts to do this and was quite astonished at the atmosphere. In slow motion my dad jumped of in the normal diving position everything was fine until, until his back legs came down and he smacked into the water. The crowd was going crazy, blaring “ouch” and “Ohh”.
My dad did what was informally known as a belly flop. His stomach was as red as the chilies he had earlier in his curry. I have never laughed nor cried so hard in my entire life.
My proudest moment would have to be when my mum whispered, “I am so proud of you” which is exceptionally unoriginal, but nevertheless was the only moment with my mum, which made me experience curious feelings of warmth and prickliness inside. This occurred only recently with the reason that I had done so well in my S.A.T.S
It was my first day of school and I was completely clueless. I am quite day dreamy and picked up the name loopy Lucy at nursery. Sometimes I can be quite nutty as well which helped, as I didn’t seem to be nervous. To be honest it was lots of fun and we were read a storybook.
School was fun and I made lots of friends who I grow up with. We had so much fun, I sometimes wish I was young again, but staying up later and going shopping on your own is just what the young me wanted to do.
The greatest time at school was the school trips. Lots of activities such as kayaking and climbing as well as messing about in the rooms. I remember quite clearly I was 11 and there was about 10 girls in one room. We a found a top secret draw in the wall and stuffed it with lots of sweets and secret notes. Also there was this really annoying immature boy who kept running in and mooning to us. All the girls screamed with fright, as they had never seen something so repulsive. But unfortunately it did come to an end after crafty little girls got their own back, linking a camera and black mail.
My future seems a distant experience, which I wish not to explore or discover just yet. I would love a job in the field of mathematics and physics although it would be very hard work and determination. I do not mind the hard work; I just do not want to look like fifty when I’m twenty because I was stressed and my life revolved around a job. On the other hand, I have a very philosophic way of thinking, a sense of wonder you might say. I’ve always wondered what is a human being and how the world began. Hopefully when I am older I will also have children no matter what circumstance I am in!
