Newspaper Letter for Explorers to Pay for Rescues

Dear British Times,

I’m writing to argue whether or not explorers and adventurers should be forced to pay for the cost of their own recues, no matter the expense.

I think that Explorers should be forced to pay for their own rescues, the reason for this is that explorers are like businessmen, when they go off in search of an adventure or other reasons for explorations they are responsible for themselves just like sole traders when they go on into a business deal they are responsible for their business debt. This is known as limited liability. So this should be the way explorers should be treated as they must be held responsible for their failure.

Also these explorers are going out for their own personal gain, for example let’s say that if explorers were rescued due to an immature act which led them to cry for help, the government would dispatch coastguard, navy and would end up with a huge cost on their plate. But on the other hand if the mission were to be a success then the explorers would gain all the fame and glory whilst the government gains nothing, even though they’re ready to save their lives if they fall like babies on their bottom.
