It is the sound of my own footsteps, lonely and unforgiving, that is slowly defeating me, pace by pace. My own brother Oliver the cause of this hasty pilgrimage to the dangerous yet charming forest of Arden. Not a stroke after the noon-toll of yesterday, my old servant Adam, good, faithful Adam, came to inform me of my evil brother's plans.

The words have churned over many a time since, however I still fail to make sense of it. How could it have come to this? My own brother has betrayed my father's wishes and now he betrays me.
