The five items I would take on a desert island is a fishing rod to catch fish when I am hungry .Also I would take a knife for protection and to cut things with. There could also be dangerous animals such as tigers , crocodiles ,snakes ,lions hippopotamus ,or scorpions .I would take a mobile phone ,but this one would run on solar power(sun light)and would charge the battery of the mobile and I would use it if I wanted to talk to my family or friends and to get help .A compass would definitely come in use because I might get lost ,or to find my way back to my camp when I go fishing. I would take cloths so when I get wet I have a fresh pair to wear .Finally the last item I would take is a box of matches because to start a fire without them is very difficult and needs patience.

DAY 1

My adventure has just started, I am sure I will enjoy this new experience. I have woken up to a lovely hot day in a desert island. I have decided to explore the island .I have fruitful found palm trees they had a striking upright stance .It was roughly about 100 feet tall. I discovered beneath the palm tree that a coconut had fallen on to the ground. I went and picked it up I cut it open with my knife and drank the water from it and the cut a piece coconut and slowly started to eat it , it was delicious and fresh. I can still taste it in my mouth. Because of the heat I decided to sit under it, it provided me with refreshing shade. After my rest I continued walking north as I was walking I saw a snake ,I could hear its tail rattling. I could hear my heart beating fast but I was careful and scared I kept walking.

It was getting late and I was feeling hungry .I came to the shore and luckily I had my fishing rod so I started fishing .I waited and waited suddenly I felt something pulling me towards me, it was a large fish. I reeled it in and placed it in a bucket , which I was carrying started making my way towards my camp as I was doing so I collected wood. Finally I was there.

I took the heavy load off my back.. Then I picked some leaves from nearby my camp and I lit the wood with a match. .I used the leaves to wrap the fish with to make sure it retained the heat and moisture. I made sure it was cooked throughrely .After one hour I tasted it ,it was cooked. I eat it the fish and was quite proud I catched it! That night I had a wonderful sleep.

DAY 2

Today I had woken up late because I was so tired. After I went swimming I really enjoyed myself .I explored the other part of the island, as I was slowly walking I found a map. I opened it up, it contained a key .I read the letter it said ,

I have left treasure on this island your quest is to find it.

I was really excited .I started searching for the treasure . I found a cave ,I went inside it was pitch black. I sparked a match and I saw bats hanging from the top of the cave. I remained calm and tried not to make noise. I was walking round when something hit my foot, the flame from the math went out. I quickly sparked another match as I was doing so I thought what it could be ?

It was a chest! Suddenly I heard a rumble the cave was crumbling. With all my strength I carried it out.

I was over the moon. I opened it, I couldn’t believe my eyes. It had gold and diamonds sparkling. I phoned a rescue helicopter to collect me on my mobile .I couldn’t wait to get home. I was rich !
