Romeo and Juliet movie review
Ever thought Shakespeare was boring? Think again. The updated version is both better and better. Yes it’s got classic tragic love story, but now it’s got action and the gorgeous Leonardo Di Caprio makes an appearance as Romeo.
There is still the old English language but now it makes sense! The use of it in a modern setting really helps the understanding and there is now much more drama. Firstly it has pace, never slows down for am moment, you don’t even get chance to get some more popcorn! The opening fight scene especially is pretty cool, as it introduces the characters and there is certainly a difference between the smooth cowboy Capulets and the fun loving Hawaiian shirt wearing Montagues. The action continues through to where Romeo kills Tybalt, not bad for an old romantic
