Introduction

The action continues through to where Romeo kills Tybalt, not bad for an old romantic It's not all death and violence though as some humour shows though during the pool scene between Romeo and Juliet, and the sight of Mercutio singing and dancing is enough to make anyone laugh. All of there different parts of the film keep it really entertaining. But where would a film be without its soundtrack? ...read more.

Conclusion

Claire Danes plays ordinary looking Juliet, not a stunning supermodel but it certainly shows there's hope for the rest of us yet! The ending may disappoint some as it is quite sudden and maybe more action is needed, but the rest of the film makes up for it. My overall opinion is that if you want a movie that has t all, well most of it any way, Romeo and Juliet is definitely a girly night in movie; still think Shakespeare's best left at school? ...read more.
