They started walking down the road. “ Steven said “ Don’t worry it’s not far, it’s only about twenty minute walk. But keep the gun covered.” Dave said, “ How much ammo have you got for the guns?” Steven said “ About 1000 in a bag in my pocket.” They passed a church and there was a tramp sleeping in graveyard with bottle of beer in his hand. They both stared at him while they were walking. When they got to the wall that surrounds the metal institute Steven climb it with no problem. Dave tried and couldn’t. Dave said in an angry way “ Help me.” Steven grabbed his hand pulled him up. When they got inside Dave noticed how long the grass was inside. There were different buildings. They were quite modern buildings and only one floor apart from the closest one. Steven was right all the windows were broken. They went to the closest one. They opened the stiff door. Inside everything was still there even the beds and there were books and broken all over the floor. Steven pulled out his pistols and shot one of the light bulbs. Dave said, “ This is not what I expected.” Steven said, “ Come on lets go upstairs.” The stairs were all wet. When they got to the top of the stairs, Steven said “ Which way do go left or right?” Dave said, “ Right.” So they went right.
They opened the first door on the left. There were two boys setting fire to the carpet! They were about the same and looked quite strong and were not pleased to se us. They said, “ Do you want to stabbed. Well I hope not so give your wallet and mobile. They both pulled out a knife. Steven and Dave pulled out their guns and Steven said “ Do you want to get shot. Well I hope not so drop your knives.” They both reluctantly dropped them. Steven said in a hard “ Now get out now.” Steven and Dave edged back to make space for the boys to get through. They walked down the hallway and down the stairs and they didn’t look back. Dave said, “ What are we going do because they might come and bring their mates?” Steven said, “ Don’t worry they won’t come back. They picked the knives and kept them. They continue down the hallway. There was a locked door. Dave said “Come on lets kick it down.” So they both kicked at the same time it didn’t budge. They repeated and on the fifth time collapsed. Inside was a bed and no broken glass on the floor there were belts attached to the bed to keep the patient in the place. Steven said, “This must be a really insane person’s room. There was a diary on the floor. Inside the person had written their thoughts. It didn’t what the person had written so Steven just dropped it. They left the room and continued down the hallway. They went into the room at the end it was a doctors surgery. There was medicine all over the floor. The corner was a burn from a fire. Steven said, “ There’s nothing inside here.
Most of the rooms were the same. But was a secretary’s office. It looked like there had been a computer there but it was gone. Dave said with a grin on his face “ Shall we throw it out of the window?”
Steven said “ Yeah.” So smash the remaining glass in the window and picked the desk up and swung it out the window. It made a huge smash and fell to bits. Steve said “ Shall we see what’s down stairs now?” Dave said in an unexcited voice “ No lets go to one of the other buildings.” They walked past one of the windows. Dave walked backwards and looked out. There were six boys walking through the field armed with BB guns. Dave whispered “ Steven come and look at this. It’s those two boys we saw with their friends. I told you they would come back.” Steven whisper “ They’re coming over here. Just shoot at them.” They point the guns out of the window and fired. They both sprayed BB’s at them. They six boys got hit quite a few times a retaliated. Steven and Dave crouched down. Dave shouted, “ I’m hit. You didn’t say it hurt this much.” Steven got and looked out of the window. They boys were running towards the building and were very close. Come let’s get to the stairs before the boys can get up here.” They ran towards stairs and stayed there. Just as they got there a boy ran up the stairs. Steven aimed at him and pulled the trigger but nothing happened, both the pistols were empty. The boy aimed was just about to shoot when Dave shot a spray of BB’s hitting him in the chest. The boy ran back down in pain. Steven started to reload his pistols when a voice came from down stair saying, “ You’re out numbered so come down and we won’t hurt you.” Steven said “ No way.” The voice shouted “ Right we’re coming up there to get you then.” But they didn’t come up the stairs. Then voice shouted, “ Ok we’ll give thirty seconds to decide if you’re going come down or we’ll throw a petrol bomb on the stairs and burn to death.” Dave whisper “ So come on lets go down then.” Steven whispered, “ You must be stupid. If we go down they’ll shoot us all over coving us with bruises and our money and ours mobile so we’ll stay up here.” Then the voice shouted, “ Your thirty seconds are up bye.” Suddenly a bottle went flying and smashed on the stairs. The fire quite big and the whole stairs were covered in flames. Steven shouted, “ Come lets try to a fire extinguisher. They ran back to Doctor’s Surgery and got the fire extinguisher but it was empty. They ran to the room which secretaries office and the in the corner was a fire extinguisher. Dave said with joy “ Yes. Come let’s get to the stairs before it gets too big.” They ran to the stair and Steven was carrying it. When they got to stairs and tried to pull the safety catch but it was wouldn’t come out. Then Dave had a go and pulled and it came out straight away. Then Dave sprayed the foam all over the stairs. After a while the flames were put out. Steven said in amazement “ How did you pull that safety catch out?” Dave said, “ I don’t know. It was easy.” They went down the charred stairs and the boys had gone. Dave said, “ That was close.” Steven said, “ Come on let’s get out of here.”
They walking though the walkways to the exit and went outside the six boys were running away. At first Steven thought it was them that had scared them off. When they saw a huge a gang of Gypsies. Dave said in worried voice “What are we going to do? We’re never going to get to your house at this rate.”
Steven said in a more calm voice “ Relax. Just keep hidden until these gypsies have gone.” They left that building and crept round the institution to another building. Dave whispered “ Quiet. They’ll hear us if you’re not careful.” They went in the closest building. Dave whispered “ More safe one?” Steven whispered “ No. We’re lucky we weren’t seen then. If stay out in the open we’ll be seen.” So they went into this building. This one was very creepy. There was a doll on the floor and some dry blood on the wall. Dave said, “ God this is creepy.” “ Steven said, “We might as well look around.” One of the passages was dark because windows had been covered with wooden boards. Steven said, “ I dare you to go down there.” Dave said, “ Err no thank you.” Kept looking around and Dave found a straight jacket on the floor. Dave said “ Hey Steven come and look at this.” Steven said, “ Keep your voice down. What the hell is that? Imagine wearing that.” Dave said, “ I’m hungry aren’t you? Steven said “ Yeah of coarse I am.” Dave said “ So what are we going to doing know.” You tell the Dave wanted go and get out here. But there was not way unless they were going just to walk past the gypsies. So they had to stay put for the time being. Dave stood up and looked out of the window. The gypsies were about 75 metres away and were sitting on the grass and talking probably so they’re out of the way of the police. Dave said, “ They don’t look like the going to move.” Just as he was crouching down machine fell on the floor and fired a few BBs. Steven whispered “ Dave look out the window and see if there if they’re coming. One of the gypsies got up and started talking to his friends. They all got up and started walking over to the over towards the building. Dave whispered, “ They’re coming. What are we going to do? Steven whispered, “ We have to go up that passage and hopefully they won’t find us.” They up they tip toed up the dark passage in a hurry at the end was a door. Steven opened the door and stiff. The room inside was totally pitch black and they stayed inside and Dave closed the door behind him. They sat down and didn’t say a word and even breathed. The gypsies walked through the door at the front of the building. One of them started walking down the dark passage and Steven and Dave could the glass crush beneath his feet. He came right up the door. Stood still for a few seconds. Then they turned round and walked back up the passage. Steven and Dave finally started to breathe again. After about ten minutes Steven left the room. Steven whispered, “ Now that was close” Dave said “ Be quite they still might be here.” The dark passage felt creepier on the way out than in. Steven started to think about what was inside the room they were just hiding in and though went through his that could have been anything. But then he gave up and knew that he will never know. When they got to the main room there was no one there. Then Dave looked out of the window and there was no one out in the field. Dave said in a relieved voice “ Finally we can leave. Come on Steven.” They left the building and walked across the field. They both expected people to jump out at any second. Steven had his finger on the trigger ready for any surprises. They managed to find the wall that they had climbed over to enter. This time Dave was able to get over with no problem. Once they were both over the wall Steven’s mobile rung. It was James. James said, “ Are you still up for tomorrow, because we are meeting my friend John. He’s 16.” Steven said “ Yeah we’re both coming.” James said “ See you tomorrow then. Bye.” Dave said, “ So who else is coming then?” Steven said is an exhausted voice “ Its some boy called John but never met him.” They continued walking home. It was getting dark so they had to hurry. Dave said, “ Come on hurry.” They were getting close to their house, when Steven’s mobile rung. It was his Mum. She said, “ Where are you. I expected home earlier.” Steven said, “ We’re almost home. So bye. They were walking quickly. When they got back. Steven’s mum opened the front door as they walked up the drive. She said “ A boy called James rung earlier.” Steven said, “ I know. He me on my mobile.” She left the door open they walked through. They took off their shoes and ran upstairs into Steven’s room. When they got inside Dave dropped the gun and said “ I’m so glad I that out. Do you know how heavy that gun is? I don’t see the point in bring them. Steven said, “ If we hadn’t of brought those guns those two would have taken all our money and our mobiles.” Steven put the guns under the bed. Then he said, “ Do you want DVD or something?” Just as Dave was about to answer Steven’s Mum shouted “ It’s time for dinner.” They both ran down and sat at the table. It was roast chicken with roast potato. Steven got and went the fridge to get a coke. Just as he was doing that he said “ So when Dad getting back. His Mum said “ Not for a few days.” Then Steven said “ Dave do you want a glass of coke?”
Dave said, “ Err yes please.” Steven poured it. Then came and sat down at the table. They all started eating away. Steven’s Mum said, “ So what did you get up to today? You home quite late.” Steven said “ We to that abandoned mental home. There was nothing much there. But we lost and it took ages to find our way out.” Then she said, “ Dave you’re very quiet.” Steven said in a mocking voice “ That’s cause he’s shy.” They both kept eating the food and within a few minutes it was gone. They both the table and went up to Steven’s room. Then Steven said, “ Lets go on the Internet.” They switched the computer on and connected up. Dave said, “ So what are we going to go on. Steven said, “ I just need check my email. He signed in to his email address but it was only junk mail. They both decided it had been quite a day and Dave soon left.
