Some people think that tourism is affecting the places that we visit. Write an article for a travel magazine that argues for or against this idea.

It’s time for the biggest decision of the year. A decision that will decide the fate of you and your family for the rest the holidays. A decision that is risks untold amounts of boredom and misery of which no young child should suffer. It must be earth-shattering then. It is, and your happiness for the rest of the year will depend upon getting it right because you don’t get two chances on this one. It’s where you are going to go on holiday this year.

So, what’s it going to be then? Majorca? Rome? Barbados? Istanbul? The choices of wonderful and enjoyable destinations are virtually endless. Close your eyes and imagine it. Riding the waves of the cool crisp Caribbean Sea as you soak in the tropical sun. Watch in awe as you experience the colourful Spanish nightlife. Enjoy the smells and aromas as you walk through Rome. Everything that the travel brochures say and more. Sounds irresistible?
