Middle

Huge crowds. Huge crowds of Brits. Huge crowds of young Brits. And where young Brits go, what follows? Trouble. Trouble with a capital T. It?s all to do with what happens when a place decides to become a tourist resort. It starts out as a place of refuge, away from the hassle of life, and full of local charm. By the end it has changed into something else: A piece of Britain in the sun. You can see them all around the world from Ibiza to Benidorm. Tthe attitudes of us British tourists are far from pleasing. We are too lazy to learn the language spoken in the country so foreign places are instead forced to speak English. ...read more.

Conclusion

McDonalds, Bars, Pubs and All day Breakfasts. What a customer wants a customer gets. It would be unfair for me not to mention that tourism does help to provide money for the local economy. But what is the price of all this. In their quest for money they have lost what made must see destinations in the first place. What does the future hold for these places? Cash, certainly, lots of British cash. But can anything recompense a community for the theft of its identity and heritage? Will it be worth it when all that remains are burger bars bud drink dens? It appears that the tourist resorts are imploding, destroying themselves in the search for money. All this fuelled by a tourism industry that is fired by the sun and is now too hot to handle.
