His hand slowly turned the handle on the front door, as he walked in no one seemed to notice him even though he was the odd one out. Everyone was dressed smartly and he wore all black. The black jacket ripped on the left sleeve, the black trousers were worn and ragged, the black shoes were broken at the toe, and his face was in shadow due to the hood of his coat covering it. As he stood by the front door it was as if he was waiting for someone, he glanced at everyone around the room. There she was, the woman, her long, blonde, curly hair bounced as she walked around the room, her bright blue eyes shone like diamonds, her long slender legs were golden brown, the sequins on her dress sparkled as the lights reflected off them. As she turned she spotted him, standing at the door, her eyes met his, she smiled at him and headed towards the stairs. While she walked, he watched her; he didn’t notice the exquisite decoration of the room. It was perfect. Gold and red were the colours, the drapes, the glasses and the table. By the door he stood next to a table which had glasses filled with champagne piled in the shape of a pyramid, it was amazing.
As the woman walked into the first room at the top of the stairs he started towards the same way staring at the door the woman went into. He got half way up the stairs and the music was turned up, he glanced behind and sniggered.
When he got up the stairs he headed straight towards the room in which she was in. Calmly, he walked into the room. As he slowly closed the door behind him, he reached into his pocket. BANG!!!! A gunshot was fired. The body laid still on the floor; dead.
The glass was picked up and a mouthful of brandy was drunk. Downstairs no one heard the gunshot, no one was suspicious, they just carried on drinking and talking together. As the glass was put back down on the table she took one last look at the dead body laying on the floor, she stepped over him to get to the door and laughed as she did so. Extremely calmly, she closed the door behind her and walked downstairs back to her guests. When she reached the bottom she acted just as normal as before and carried on laughing with her guests.
