The day after the day that we went to bed early

We just came to get some meat from Jack and the hunters cause we was hungry. Then we was tired so we went to bed (me and Ralph), straight to bed I was real tired. Plus, the sky wasn't looking too good, like the day we got here. I told Ralph things weren't gonna be good and we gotta leave and we did. That's all that happened last night. That's all that we wanna believe what happened last night.

Everything has now changed. Simon is dead, murdered and gone forever. We all killed him, the beast came raging into all of us as we savagedly attacked him. Ralph ain't bein a leader any more, he's scared. I told him we wasn't there and we went to bed.

I told him I couldn't of done it anyway, I mean on the account of my assmar, I can't jump up and down like that. And I didn't see all that well, I only have one eye now.

We decided we would live on our own now, the four us-me, Ralph, Samneric. None of us were there last night, we all was tired and went to bed. Its better if its just us by ourselves because we're different from them now. Its better this way, Ralph can still be leader and we don't have to live amongst them; the murderers.

But not matter what I say to deter the truth of last night, I hear us all chanting, "Kill the beast, cut his throat, spill his blood, do him in." Simon was screaming and covering his poor limp body from our knives stabbing him repeatedly as if he was the beast. As I run my hand over the cut on my face, I say to myself, we was tired and went to bed early - before the dance.
