Mother Teresa showed total commitment by the way she went out into the poor countries and stayed with the people to care for them to help them, through what ever difficultly she faced. That’s why she is remembered in everyone’s heart, she was totally committed to the people and never left them for the worst. This tells us as Christians today that we must show commitment to people and help them throughout the difficulties never leave when the going gets tuff, just as others have done for us.
All parents have to sacrifice things for us .i.e. There free time, clothe and items they may need. But parents sacrifice all there time for their child so they have what they need.
Mother Teresa gave up everything, her riches, her healthy to help others in the poor countries this makes her a true discipleship of God.
What Christians today learn from this is that we must sacrifice things, sometime big things to help others in need and in doing so you are doing what is required to be a disciple of God.
A parent also provides service to their child as it’s the parent that washes their clothes when they get they dirty, it’s the parent who cooks the child dinner when their hungry and it’s the parent who cares for the child when they are sick. If a child is looking to go somewhere, the parent provides a service by driving them there.
Mother Teresa provide service by helping the poor people, she taught them, washed them, helped clothe them, care for them when they were sick. This teaches Christians today that they must help others, do things for them .i.e. help out an elderly person at home 1 day week, general helping people in need.
Suffering is something every parent goes through for their child as some families might be poor because of children and a parent might have to get another job. A parent always stands by their child or should stand by them when difficulties face them regardless of what they may have done, so suffering is experienced in this. Furthermore if a child gets in trouble at school the parent suffers as well.
Mother Teresa suffered throughout her experience in the poor countries, she faced poverty, hurt, disease, hunger and rejection, this teaches us that even if we go through suffering to help someone, were still doing the right thing, were following the life of a Christian.
Through this we also learn as a Christian today that we must love God and love are neighbour, we show love to God by doing what he asks of us, following a good, Christian life and staying away from the temptation of evil.
We show love to our neighbour by helping them when they are in need, i.e. by following the four themes above.
So in conclusion this affects the life of a Christian by all of the points I have made above and that by helping others we are helping are selves become better Christians of God.
