The One Party State

Once the Nazi won a majority of seats in the Reichstag on 5th March 1933 Hitler set about creating a totalitarian state. Within 20 days Hitler managed to pass the Enabling act meaning he could pass any law he wanted without consulting the Reichstag or President Hindenburg. The meant Hitler had become a legal Dictator.
