Extracts from this document...

Introduction

Haseeb Ali Choudary ICT DTP Coursework Candidate number: 3038 Center number: 11043 IDENTIFICATION Organisation: The name of my organisation is H A C electronics, it is a shop is located in south London, it has been running for 10 years now, it is an electrical repair shop. It repairs electric equipments such as phones, computers, laptops, cameras, DVD player, CD player and many more gadgets. This shop has 6 members of staff. The shop is not that popular, as other shops in that area. Mr Smart will be using my system, he is the manager, he is not that advanced in ICT, but he knows the basics. Problem background: The problem is that the shop is not making enough money and may close down, it does not have as many customers as the other electronic shop, down the road, after a thorough investigation, I have realised that is that the company is to blame for their own downfall, first and foremost they do not have any form of advertisements. Secondly the shops posters in the window are too small, and are hand drawn. Lastly the company are employing one too many workers. Alternative solutions: This company can use Microsoft publisher, to update the shop poster, it can let go of one of its employees. The company can also use publisher to make the leaflets, to hand out. ...read more.

The manager will provide me the pictures of the products. I will be manipulating the pictures by cropping them up to my required state. The leaflet will have text, with price on the products. Lastly the leaflet should have a map. Data flow: Outputs: I have decided to use a 25 inch monitor for an output because the leaflet will appear on the screen, or I will email it to him. I will use an all in one printer to produce the leaflets. Backup method: I have chosen a USB because it is better than a CD or floppy disc as it is smaller and portable. USB will be locked in the company storage room in a safe which only the manager can access. The information will also be on my email address, this is just in case I loose my USB. Security methods: There are many different security methods; such as a security camera so no thief can get the information and an alarm, a password on the file, an anti virus to catch any computer hacker, the room to be triple locked at all times, with the key only with the manager. Test plan: Test plan Description Predicted results Actual results 1 Spelling error checker No error 2 Grammar error checker No error 3 Font All text same 4 Font size Equal font sizes 5 title Stan out 6 Subtasks: The tasks that I have to do in the correct order are: * Design the news letter. ...read more.

Conclusion

Ali I have some good new and some bad new for you the good news is that I like way you have presented the leaflet it is set in a good way also it's easy to read and to understand. . On the second page I liked the way you have put deals of the week and month this will obviously drag in the customer organized the columns the about us section is in the right place as in before it was not in the right place. I like the way how colorful the back ground is, and that all the picture's are the same size, the company information is just right and all in all I think you have done a very good job and I am extremely impressed with your amazing work so thank you very much for that. The bad news is that there is some confusion about the price of the item, I realize you have put the price on the item but not all the prices are in the same position on the item picture so please could you take this on board. Once again thank you You're sincerely Mr. Smart Improvements to be made based upon user The improvements in my leaflet would be make some minor features such as the price of the item more clear so that there is no misunderstanding ?? ?? ?? ??
