The Proposed System
When the system is running the presentation will be shown on a LCD touch screen in front of car models viewed in the showroom. It will also be shown where customers will be waiting to purchase cars. The system will successfully run without any member of staff helping the end user.
Hardware Requirements
- A standard desktop which includes the following;
- 160 Gigabytes hard drive to store all presentations. (Larger hard drive which allows space to save bigger files.)
- A 3.0 Gigahertz processor; in order to view all animations, video, sound and presentation properly (to its full value) a quicker processor is applied to view presentation.
- 1 Gigabyte RAM; is ideal in order or to view the presentation to its full capability; sound, video, animations etc.
- A touch screen (kiosk screen). 15” – 17”. The touch screen is necessary as you need this component to view and interact with presentation.
Software Requirements
- Windows XP Professional SP2 Edition; An operating system which allows the user to interface with the computer.
- Microsoft Office 2003; which must include PowerPoint and Excel, as these will be needed to run the system successfully.
- Latest Flash Player; in order to view animations.
- Macromedia Flash in order to create animations
