- The data for the record breakers and event times still have to be compiled but will be given through email near the sports day
- As soon as the data for the advertisement for Helmcroft Hall is received then it will be emailed
- The data for the school photographs will be emailed once the photos are taken.
The Desired Outcomes And Performance Criteria
OUTCOMES:
The desired out comes for these programmes are simple. The programme needs to be,
- Attractive
- Easy to read
- That it displays a good impression of the school
Performance Criteria (style/ layout):
The first page of the programme needs to have the school badge and two photographs of the school with the title “Sports day 2002”. So this has to be done as two A4 sized masters for the inside and outside of the programme.
In the middle pages there needs to be the list of events in order of time. These events only being the track events. This list needs to be in neat columns with each column having a straight left edge and a bold heading. The heading being “Programme Of Events”.
The Back there needs to be the half page advert and the list of record breakers. The list of record breakers needs to be in neat columns too having a straight left edge and a bold heading, this heading being “Records set in 2001”.
Testing is not needed for this problem.
Problem 2: Develop A Method Of Producing Record Sheets For Each Event.
Form the output will take
The form the output will take is quite simple, basically I have to produce a method of producing recording sheets for each event and a set of instructions to tell the school how to produce the sheets for next year.
The output here then will be a set of clear instructions of how to produce the sheets and method of producing the recording sheets. Each sheet will have to have,
- The year group, gender and event at the top.

Underneath on a grid there should be printed First name, Last name, House of each competitor in that event.
- Along side the name and house there should be spaces for the results.
- In case of track events there should be space for time,positionand points awarded.
- For field events there should be space to record the results for three attemps.
- The list will be alphabetical order by house.

The information needed to be output is as follows:
The name, year group, gender, house and event need to be output.

- With this method when recording results it should not be time consuming

The name and position should be clearly seen to belonging to one person. This means how the columns should be easy to distinguish when recording results. Also how the recording sheet must be easy to complete. Finally the list must be in alphabetical order by the house.
Problem 3: Production Of House Performance Charts
Form the output will take
The form of output for this problem is very simple. It will be a sample chart that compares the total points of each house gained in each event. On the same chart it has to display how many points the boys gained an how many points the girls gained.
The chart must have a title for each event. For example “Results for the 100m” clearly displayed. Also the points won by each gender must be in a colour key.

The information needed to be output is the last year’s sports day results.
Is total points of each house gained in each event, how many points the boys gained an how many points the girls gained in each house, the points won by each gender must be in a colour key. Finally A clear chart title.

Problem 4: Produce A Model To Price Drinks
Form the output will take
The output for this problem is a simple model done on Microsoft excel.
This model is expected to show what to charge for hot and cold drinks so that minimum profit can be made
The Information Needed to be Output
The information needed to be output is simple it is the money out. This being,
- Programme printing
- Public address system
- Caretakers Over time
- Cost to make hot drink
- Cost to Buy cold drink
Also the money in,
- Sponsorship
- Ice cream van
- Price of hot drink either 55or 60 p
- Price of cold drink no more than 60p

The information needed to produce the output is the information that mary gave me. That is the science department study.

- Produce a model that can predict what is the best price to charge for hot and cold drinks on sports day.

Problem 5: Produce Four Web Pages For The School Intranet.
Form the output will take
Will be a little web page with hyperlinks to three sub pages. The sub pages are to have hyper links to the title page only.

The Information needed to be out put is simple it is for the sports day page,

- You will be supporting your house
- Points are awarded fro every team effort
- You may win the team/ year effort prize
- You may set a new school record
- Your parents and friends may cheer you on
- You will receive a competitors certificate
- You will not have to tidy up at the end
- You will not have to carry chairs
For the sports day records page it will have the list of records in 2001 sports day.
