Report 3 - AO2b Design Design Specification Font - I will use Arial Rounded MT Bold in size 16 so that the information can be easily read by all manner of people, even the partially sighted, without difficulty. The Font will be Blue, to provide easy viewing against my White Background as well as to match with the Banner at the top of the slides. Background - My background will be predominantly white, with a blue 'wave' banner at the top of all the slides. Hyperlinks - I shall used the standard blue hyperlink colour for my hyperlinks, however, when they have been visited the links shall change to green. Input- Process- Output The inputs in my system are things such as my logo and links to other pages. They are the things that you as the operator enter in to create the website. This is usually information, such as pictures or text. The process is the way in which the system uses this information and displays it, in this case as interactive slides. The Output is the useful information, in this case n interactive slideshow.. ...read more.

It fits into my original design specification, in terms of font, text size, text colour and background. The banner has also been accurately been reproduced. It is also very similar to the page layout that I produced. The pictures are clear and are correctly aligned, as well as being related to the purpose of the website. The text provides a clear overview of my company's ethos, and makes the aims of the presentation extremely clear. The hyperlinks are clear and easy to use and the font is, as intended in my design specification, clear and easy to read. This is the first of my additional 3 informative pages. Like the home page it fits the original design specification in terms of house style and layout. The information on the page is taken from a number of sources, and has been edited and crops to make it easier to understand for the average user, as well as much quicker to get the message across, due to the user not getting bogged down in lots of irrelevant detail. The information has also been cross-referenced with other sources to make sure that it is accurate, valid and up to date. ...read more.

To correct this is had to go onto 'edit individual sheets' at the end of the mail merge and alter them all manually before finally printing the document. Evaluation Design The design part of my wages system, data capture form, letterhead and logo worked exceptionally well. I had no real issues and it all appears to function correctly. I knew what I had to do and followed the design brief without any problems. I entered in all of the relevant information as well as the formulas and it all worked. I then quickly proof-read the output data and confirmed that it was right. I first planned everything out on paper before doing it on the computer. Testing In this stage of my process I performed 10 simple tests on my spreadsheet to ensure that everything was working and that there were no errors. My system passed all 10 first time and so I didn't need to make any changes to the system. My only concern was that the information on the wages slips wasn't to 2 decimal places and so I had to alter that before printing of the final copies. ?? ?? ?? ??
