The computer also comes with a DVD and a CD Re Writer, which are quite useful in a number of ways but I feel they will not help David and Angela in their task. The other good objective for this computer package is that it comes with an operating system powered by Microsoft XP. I recommend this simply because it is the newest operating system out and it has more options than, for example Microsoft 95. The computer also comes with the basic objects needed such as a mouse, which enables to go on to programmes etc. It comes with a sound system, which enables the viewer to listen. A monitor will also come with the package and this is useful for looking at documents you produce etc. It also comes with the most important feature a mouse. This enables all the programs to run and to go on to the other programs as well. The desktop package also comes with the package, Microsoft Works 6.0.which includes Microsoft spreadsheet, Microsoft Access and many other applications which will help David and Angela in various tasks for their club. There are other items as well, which will certainly help David and Angela in their tasks. A printer is extremely important because it will help towards printing out the documents that both of them produce. What I have chosen is a HP 940 C printer, which will cost them £151.58 which will leave them another £749.42 which is a sufficient amount of money to buy the other useful items. This printer has benefits such as printing 12 pages per minute how ever the only down fall of this is that the printer cartridges are fairly expensive and do cost £30.00 but you can get generic ones as well which are half the price. Another item they could buy is a scanner and it will cost them £158.63. This scanner will allow them to email, fax and copy documents they produce. This scanner is extremely reliable and it also carries the quality of the print as well, 2400 dpi. The last final item they should buy is a digital camera. This could help in taking pictures of their clubs progress and show the local people through their newsletters they will produce using Microsoft Works.
