An error occurred when I was making my video. The audio for my video suddenly just disappeared and so there was no music in the background of my video as shown above.
It took me a while to figure out what was wrong, it was due to the fact that I had moved the source audio file to another folder and so Windows Movie Maker could not locate the file I wanted to insert.
This is when I was importing the audio from my file to Windows Movie Maker to insert into my video.
This is when I needed to insert a title into my video. I found it quite hard and complicated to try adding it on its own in the beginning as the audio would not be in sync with the video. So I decided to make a title overlay which basically meant the title being shown while the video itself is being played, as shown above.
In this screenshot, I needed to mute the audio of the Bleach clips I downloaded so that the only audio that would be playing would be the music that I had chosen. I did this by clicking on the “clip” tab and then going to “audio” and choosing “mute”.
Windows Movie Maker allows you to merge two clips into one and giving a kind of reflection effect. It worked really well with the video and I found it particularly good because even though it looked quite complicated, it was quite easy to do.
The way I split the clips from the episodes was simple. I used the Windows Movie Maker “Split” icon which is located in the red sqaure in the picture above. The way to use it is very basic, what I did was click “split” from the place I wanted the clip to begin and click “split” again for when I wanted it to end.
Another error that occured was that my video was not in sync with the music and so I thought I had no choice but to shorten the clip I had chosen or choose another much shorter clip.
The solution to this problem was simple, using the merging trick I had learnt earlier, I put the two clips together to make the video in sync with music.
This is when my video was at the half way point.
Using the Windows Movie Maker title option helped me make a title and credits for my video. With this option, you can choose what your title and credits look like and how the move around in the video and what font to choose from.
This is my completed video from beginning to end. Took me around 6 hours to make but worth it in the end. ^.^
